We are a network of families helping each other to educate our children at home. We do not advocate any particular method, style, or philosophy of home schooling, but help families to connect with one another, and to find the information & resources that they need. Our members come from southern Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. Our children range in age from infants to graduating seniors.
From the State of Ohio Homeschooling Regulations 3301-34-01 (B) "Home education" means education primarily directed and provided by the parent or guardian of a child under division (A) (2) of section 3321.04. of the Revised Code, which is of compulsory school age and is not enrolled in a nonpublic school.
The HSN currently has a parent volunteer who is willing to help member families transition from e-schooling/virtual schooling to homeschooling. Contact Claudia at caganote@hotmail.com

Benefits of joining (contingent on member volunteers):
  • Activity groups and parent get-togethers to share ideas.   September Parent Meeting

  • An email tree to inform you of current events, items of interest, and get-togethers.

  • A directory of members, cross-indexed by area and ages of children to make it easier to find other families near you.
