The Cincinnati Public Library offers many programs for children, and there is an extensive program schedule.
The Hamilton County Park District Naturalist Department offers many nature-related programs that cover a broad spectrum of topics, from local wildlife to historical perspectives of Southwest Ohio's pioneer settlers. There are inexpensive programs for kids, many of them free, located around the greater Cincinnati area. Refer to Evergreen, the Park District's bimonthly newsmagazine available at all Visitor Centers. Teachers and other groups may schedule private programs by calling (513) 521-PARK.
