We welcome your submissions to the newsletter. Please observe these guidelines, which will make the newsletter editor's job a lot easier.

  1. Send Submissions to hsncincy@hotmail.com.


  2. The deadline for submissions is the 20th of each month. Submissions received after the 20th may or may not make it into that issue of the newsletter. The editor will notify any late submissions that did not make it into the impending issue.


  3. Preferred submission format is via email attachment in MS Word, WordPerfect, or Openoffice format.


  4. Generally speaking submissions should be one to two paragraphs long (up to half a page in word processing program). Longer submissions will be considered on an individual basis. If a submission is unnecessarily long, the editor reserves the right to ask the submitter to revise for brevity.


  5. Very short articles may still be submitted in the body of the email. (for members without email capability, mailed submissions are acceptable).


  6. Please, No Special Formatting. No bold, No underline, No italics, No All Caps. Submissions with too much special formatting may be returned for removal of the special formatting and re-submission.


  7. All submissions should contain a title for their listing on the first line and all HSN members should include “submitted by...” and their name on the second line, and then start the info for the listing on the third line.


  8. Please include: Date, Time, Place (incl address), Appropriate Age, Cost. Items about activities or events that are more than one month in the future will be repeated automatically in the next month’s newsletter.
