The Greater Cincinnati African American Homeschool Alliance (GCAAHA) is a support group for parents, students, educators, and others who are committed to improving the academic achievement of black students via homeschooling. GCAAHA is a growing group, with participants from Greater Cincinnati and Middletown.

Black home Educators of Cincinnati is a homeschool support group for black families. The purpose of this group is to come together, in the spirit of community, to build a support system, share ideas, and provide social outings for our children. National African-American Homeschoolers Alliance
Membership is free, and includes their magazine Homeschooling Matters six times a year.

African-American Unschooling
A national network of Black homeschooling families. Their site is an Internet resource for African-American Homeschoolers with an Africentric approach to learning all the time. African-American Unschoolers encounter math, science, reading, writing, art and history in the Real World because real living leads to real learning.

The National Black Home Educators

Created to serve the community by providing assistance with information about getting started homeschool, networking/connecting veteran families with new families, recommending resources such as books, music, films, speaking information, curriculum, etc.

Christian Home Educators of Cincinnati (CHEC)
Citywide organization consisting of 19 local area support groups in the greater Cincinnati area. Monthly parent education meetings, monthly newsletter, group activities such as field trips, standardized testing, etc.

Reaching Educators And Children at Home (REACH)
The leaders of REACH are Christian, but all are welcome. Meetings are held in Loveland and serve families all over the east side of Cincinnati.

Our Uniquely Challenged Homeschoolers (OUCH)
This group, in addition to being the state representative for NATHHAN, are doing more on a state and regional level with workshops & information. They offer an "Ohio's Special Education Needs Resource Packet", a state newsletter packed with resources, updates, events, host sharing groups (around the state) & a email list. They have Speaker / Workshop Packets available on subjects for seminars & parent meetings: "Starting a Special Needs Homeschool", "Learning Differently", "ADD", "Nutrition & Learning" & many others. Donations / love offerings are appreciated for all materials. A Resource Table (non-sale samples, hard to find "special needs" items, etc.) is available at most workshops (email for workshop scheduling and cost details). O.U.C.H. has been involved in the homeschooling community for 8 years, and welcomes the opportunity to serve, share & network with you!

Homeschooling Under Grace (HUG)
We are a Christian homeschool support group based in and around Dayton. We have members from Kettering, Centerville, Miamisburg, Enon, Xenia, Spring Valley, Bellbrook, Beavercreek, Vandalia, and Huber Heights. We are a group dedicated to helping each other as we minister to our individual families. We offer a Gym Day twice a month for our children, a monthly newsletter - The HUG Herald - and various activities throughout the year including field trips, History Fair, and Open House (Show-and-Tell). We welcome the opportunity to make new friends and be of any help to anyone interested in homeschooling.

Wright Independent Learning Cooperative (WILC)
Inclusive group from Dayton mostly consisting of families practicing a pretty relaxed form of homeschooling, of various religions. We get together almost every week - sometimes just informally at the park, other times for a field trip or specific program. Participation is up to each family. We aren't providing a group FOR homeschoolers. We're enjoying a group WITH other homeschoolers. If somebody wants the group to do something, like a field trip or a get-together, it's up to her or her family to see that it happens. We aren't providing a service to group members, so everybody is expected to participate in both leadership and participation.

Whitewater Inclusive Homeschool Network (WIHN)
An inclusive homeschooling network whose purpose is to help homeschooling families in Dearborn (IN), Franklin (IN), and western Hamilton (OH) Counties and surrounding areas connect with and support each other in the task of educating our children at home. This network is open to families of any race, religion, and nationality, and actively welcomes diversity among its members. This is not primarily a parent support group but a means for families to find and cultivate relationships with others around common interests. This network will have particular appeal to families for whom finding others with whom to explore shared interests is integral to their approach to homeschooling, although families of all approaches to homeschooling are welcome. WIHN has been shaped by HSN; the distance we live from the heart of HSN activities prompted the formation of WIHN. We welcome participation from HSN members in WIHN activities. Teaching Homes In Northern Kentucky (THINK)
Christian home educators. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month, from August through June, at 7 p.m., with new Homeschoolers Orientation at 6:30 p.m. They offer a member list of other homeschooling families, a monthly newsletter, and a website.
